E-bulletin "Achieving excellence in S&T higher education"

The Quick Win (QW) project on "achieving excellence in science and technology "S&T" higher education" aims at building and retaining a critical mass of world-class scientists and technologists in targeted S&T areas; and promoting relevant research and development outcomes as well as improving scientific, technological and innovative capacities of higher education institutions in order to help them to lead member countries of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) into knowledge-based economy for development.

As information is the key to the growth of knowledge and dissemination of information is crucial for the scientific enterprise, the bulletin ""achieving excellence in S&T higher education" will be the tool of the IDB quick win project for contributing towards building innovation and knowledge-based society in the Islamic world through promoting knowledge sharing and dissemination.  This in line with IDB vision to become knowledge- based bank.

The bulletin monitors the development of S&T within higher education sector in IDB Member Countries and disseminates information and knowledge generated from the QW project as well as promotes cooperation between learning institutions and industry to establish sustainable and innovation-based S&T higher education system for development in the Islamic world.
